Sales Executive Job Description

Digital Virtue is a web development company, which has been established for 7 years and is now seeking a highly-successful and confident Sales Executive. This individual is expected to spearhead the company’s expansion in the South West and open up new geographic territories, using Cardiff as a base.

Reporting to the Directors, the role will encompass the following:

  • Covering a geographic area from Cardiff, extending across South Wales & the South West
  • Sourcing new business prospects
  • Scheduling sales appointments and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Converting new business prospects into clients
  • Preparing for and attending client meetings
  • Providing each client with a Proposal Document
  • Meeting defined targets for appointment sets and sales revenue, on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Utilising the company’s CRM system to update client accounts
  • Competently fulfilling any administrative functions allied to the role, such as, writing any reports and record-keeping
  • Managing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  • Attending and participating in monthly company meetings

The rewards are:

Digital Virtue envisages the individual best suited to this role needs to meet with the following requirements:

  • Must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be highly-motivated and results-orientated
  • Must have either a diploma or degree in an IT qualification or several years of experience within the IT marketplace
  • Must have a proven track record in sales over several years
  • Must be well-organised and able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to negotiate at a senior level
  • Must be able to write and prepare comprehensive Proposal Documents
  • Must be competent and able to work with minimum supervision after the initial training period
  • Must be a team player
  • Must participate in PR events and/or Exhibitions, as and when required
